IWCE

The International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) is coming up from March 27th to 30th. The leading exhibition falls between the 29th and 30th. IWCE, which started in 1977, is one of the largest communication conventions in the world. 

IWCE is based in North America. The event features cutting-edge technology products and emergency services. This year’s edition is a chance to create new relationships within the critical communications community. 

The upcoming event has about 400 exhibitors, including Kenwood, Icom, and other well-known two-way radio companies will show their old and new products. Register before January 31st to get your early bird price if you plan to attend the conference and exhibition.

CCW

TCCA (Tetra + Critical Communications Association) is the Critical Communications World (CCW) event organizer. 

The 2023 edition is at the Expo & Convention Centre, Messukeskus, Helsinki, Finland, from May 23rd to May 25th. The exhibition covers Nordic countries like Finland, Denmark, and Norway. 

The exhibitions will include leading technologies from various communication companies. In addition, two-way radio manufacturers like Motorola, Sepura, Simoco, Teltronic, and Etherstack will attend. They will showcase both old and new products at the event. 

The ICCA (International Critical Communications Award) day is part of the program. Awards in critical communications will be given out, which will take place on May 23rd. 

There will also be a panel of independent judges to decide who wins. Application is currently open for all aspiring applicants in different categories. 

PMR Expo

The Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) Expo is a radio expo event. It is dedicated to displaying different models of professional radios. This year’s PMR Expo dates are from November 28th to 30th in Koelnmesse, Cologne, Germany. 

BAPCO

BAPCO Conference & Exhibition

The British Association of Public-Safety Communications Officers organizes the BAPCO event. It is the largest public safety conference and exhibition in the UK. The venue for the 2023 exhibition is the Coventry Building Society Arena from the 7th to the 8th of March 2023. 

The 2023 BAPCO exhibition will feature bespoke products. It will include products from leading radio communication companies, including exhibits from Motorola Solutions, Hytera, Sepura, and Simoco.  

Major Exhibitions To Look Out for Every Year 

IWCE 

The International Wireless Communications Expo is an annual event organized by Informatech. It highlights the benefits of critical communication in crucial sectors. These sectors include health care, public safety, and transport. 

Two-way radios enable communication during emergencies and in areas where signals cannot reach. Hence, it is one of the yearly exhibits of the IWCE convention. In addition, Kenwood ICOM, and other key players in the industry, regularly exhibit their products. 

The IWCE 2022 event was held between March 12th to 24, 2022. It occurred in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas convention center, Winchester, Nevada. Over 7000 people from all over the world attended. The event presented an opportunity to learn and connect with like-minded people. 

CCW 

The Critical Communications World has been active for over 20 years. It is a program that connects mission-critical and business-critical users with manufacturers. It also connects them to other leaders in the industry. 

In 2022, the CWW event took place from the 21st to the 23rd of June. The venue was the Messe Wien Exhibition and Conference Centre, Viena, Austria. It saw the launch of several new technologies in the industry. 

Sepura launched its first VHF TETRA radios at the 2022 event. And yes, watch out for other brands like Motorola Solutions and Hytera at the annual event. 

PMR Expo 

PMR Expo is the prominent European trade fair for professional mobile radio and control centers. The venue for the trade fair since 2009 is Koelnmesse, Cologne. 

The 2022 Expo took place from the 22nd to the 24th of November. The event recorded 23 countries in attendance and thousands of participants. In addition, it featured exhibits from leading communication companies like Hytera. 

The Hytera booth showcased the H series DMR radios, which included new models like the HR655.

BAPCO

British APCO (British Association of Public-Safety Communications Officers) is a growing community. It prides itself in its extensive knowledge of Public Safety technology. 

BAPCO is an independent nonprofit association. It aims to improve emergency services, public safety communications, and information technology. 

Several two-way radio companies graced the 2022 event. Hytera was even a Gold sponsor of the exhibition. In addition, they launched several new products, including new models of Hytera two-way radios.

RadioEXPO is another annual event radio lovers should look out for every year. Unfortunately, they canceled the event from 2019 to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But it re-emerged in 2022. 

The subject area of the 2022 RadioEXPO was primarily TETRA, DMR, dPMR, and LTE for public safety. The venue was Sangate Hotel in Warsaw, Poland. RadioEXPO 2022 will be held between March 16 and 17. 

HAM Fair

HAM Fair is the biggest amateur radio event in Asia, organized by Japan Amateur Radio League, Inc. (JARL). JARL HAM Fair is an event that promotes the development of amateur radio. It also supports technological advancements in Ham radios. 

The fair is an avenue to meet other radio amateurs, reunite, and connect. The 44th JARL HAM Fair at Tokyo Big Sight Convention Centre on the 20th and 21st of August, 2022. The fair featured exhibitions from amateur radio manufacturers, including ICOM and FGC.
